Their restaurant is the best kept secret of the West side! It’s definitely hole-in-the-wally (aka inside of a grocery store), but their food is absolutely incredible and the staff is beyond kind. The place is very unassuming - walk up to the counter and order from the menu. We got chicken and lamb with a side of rice and salad. They also brought some fresh bread - I could eat that bread for days. So freaking good. Their lamb and chicken were so flavorful and tender, the meat was just falling off the bone. Very soft, rich in taste, and massive portion. I don’t think I had better lamb before, and I’ve been to a good number of Middle Eastern restaurants in the U.S. And prices are reasonable. Definitely coming back again and bringing friends. What a find!

This is a hole in the wall restaurant inside of a market. I had the lamb and rice and it was amazing. The service and people were super nice. This hidden gem is why I look for less-known places! I highly recommend!!!

Great little market, a wonderful assortment of foods and sundries. The hot food in the back was good beyond my ability to express here. 😋 Everything is scratch made, and I can't be sure but it seemed to me the bread was fired to order. …

There is a great and friendly chef in Mecca Market’s kitchen. Had an impressively taught chicken Shawarma wrap that benefitted the texture, and the meat was perfect. I will certainly try the stewed lamb that I saw on other customer’s plates next time. Tender as can be.

So so many options and cute different things at such a good price! Fresh meat selection for such a good price! There was also a restaurant in the back and the cashier was v nice :)
